Global Response is celebrating Customer Service Week, Oct. 3-7 this year, with a series of fun events designed to remind our team members how much we appreciate their dedication to helping the customer. They truly are Service Champions whose efforts reflect the week’s theme.
The Service Champion theme “recognizes that delivering excellent service is only possible with a team of dedicated professionals working together,” according to the Customer Service Group, the sponsor of the national Customer Service Week. They must: lead by example, achieve success and exceed expectations, the group says.
Our team members – who we call Brand Specialists – are at work 365 days a year to achieve our call center’s purpose – to create exceptional customer experiences. They serve the customers of Brands that they are passionate about, providing those customers all the assistance they require – and more. They are the smiling faces we see beneath the headset talking with a customer on the phone, or at the keyboard engaged in a chat conversation. They are our call center heroes.
Customer service tips
There’s much to learn from our Brand Specialists. Here are just a few tips to providing great customer service:
- Be courteous, friendly and positive.
- Thoroughly know your products, services, processes and latitude to most efficiently help the customer.
- Care above all else about the customer and their needs.
- Take every opportunity to go above and beyond for the customer.
Celebrating Brand Specialists
Customer Service Week has been celebrated during the first week of October since the U.S. Congress proclaimed it in 1992. Take a moment this week to celebrate the customer service heroes who are here to serve you at nearly every hour of every day.
