Global Response contact centers are certified as SOC2 Type 1 by a certified public accounting firm. SOC2 means that we meet the Trust Services Criteria for controls at a service organization “relevant to security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality or privacy,” as described by the American Institute of CPAs.
The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) established national standards to protect the privacy and security of certain health information. The rules detail safeguards that must be put in place to protect individuals’ electronic health information. Global Response follows all HIPAA requirements on behalf of its healthcare accounts.
The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) protects the privacy of student education records nationally. It gives parents and students over 18 years old certain rights concerning their children’s or their own education files. Global Response complies with all FERPA regulations on behalf of its accounts that operate in the education industry.
