Global Response selected by EVgo to further improve best-in-class customer service

Contact center supports customers using nation’s largest and most reliable electric car fast-charging network


MARGATE, Fla. (Dec. 12, 2019) – Global Response, The Brand Call Center, announced that it has been selected to support the more than 180,000 customers of EVgo, America’s largest and most reliable public electric vehicle fast-charging network with more than 750 fast charging locations in 66 metropolitan markets and 34 states.

In September, EVgo brought Global Response on board to further improve its best-in-class customer service record. Global Response is providing technical support and account management, including assisting customers with locating chargers; using the company’s app; enrolling in fast charging plans; and charging their cars.

EVgo plans to install a charging station on Global Response’s Margate campus, to support an on-premise branded electric vehicle. The company will also create an experience center within Global Response to showcase its history, stations and U.S. locations.

Los Angeles-based EVgo’s fast chargers are compatible with all EV models currently on the market that accept DC fast charging. EVgo has the best operating record in the industry – more than 98% uptime – and has the highest consumer scores on Plugshare of any U.S. public charging network. EVgo offers a variety of flexible pricing options for drivers, including pay as you go and low-cost membership.
